Bracelet Size Chart & Guide
Bracelet size comes down to two numbers: your wrist measurement and how many charms you plan to wear. Measure first, add room for comfort and charms, then use the chart below to pick one of our six lengths (16–21 cm). Buying as a gift and don't know her size? There's a shortcut further down.
How to measure your wrist for a bracelet
- Wrap a soft tape (or a strip of paper, then a ruler) around your wrist just below the wrist bone. Snug, not tight.
- Note the number. That's your wrist size — not your bracelet size.
- Add 0.8–1.0 in (2–2.5 cm) for comfort and charms. Stacking bracelets or wearing it in warm weather? Add another 0.2–0.4 in (5–10 mm).
- Measure at the end of the day, when wrists are at their fullest.

Size by charm count
Each charm takes up chain and adds weight, so the number you'll wear changes the length you need.
Light and everyday. Your measured size plus 2 cm is enough.
Where most people land. Measured size plus 2–2.5 cm.
Go up one length and leave a little bare chain at the clasp.
Size up for the weight, and add a safety chain.
Starter set that always works: bracelet + 3–5 charms + 2 spacers.
Which bracelet style

- Measure a bracelet she already wears, clasp to clasp. That number is her bracelet length — no maths.
- Nothing to measure? Go one size up and add a safety chain. Loose is wearable; tight isn't.
- Or give charms only. They fit any ATHENAIE bracelet, and one charm is a complete gift.

Measure your finger
- Wrap a thin strip of paper around the base of your finger; mark the overlap.
- Measure the strip length = inner circumference.
- Measure in the evening; avoid measuring cold fingers. Try 2–3 times for accuracy.
Choose your ring size
- Between sizes? Choose the larger size for comfort.
- Wide bands may need +½ US size.
- Stacking rings: consider +¼ to +½ US size depending on the number of rings.

Bracelet sizing questions
How much bigger should a bracelet be than your wrist?
2–2.5 cm (0.8–1 in) for a charm bracelet. Bare chains can sit closer; charms need the room.
What size charm bracelet should I get if I'm between sizes?
The larger one. A bracelet that's slightly loose is wearable; one that's tight isn't, and it gets tighter as you add charms.
Do charms change the size I need?
Yes. Each charm takes up chain and adds weight. Up to 9 charms, your measured size plus 2–2.5 cm is fine; at 10 or more, go up one length.
What's the most common women's bracelet size?
Our two best-selling lengths are 17 cm (6.7") and 19 cm (7.5"). If you're guessing for a gift, 19 cm with a safety chain is the safer bet.
Can I resize an ATHENAIE bracelet?
Snake chains come in fixed lengths and can't be shortened without a jeweler. If the size is wrong, use our Returns & Exchange Center — so it's worth measuring twice before ordering.
